5/18 Interview of Djokovic in Roma 2019

Interviewer:

another ?Argentine? another battle tonight, how difficult was it to face Diego and especially those drop shots.

 

Novak Djokovic:

yeah I mean very very heavy conditions probably the heaviest since since I played this year the court is in a really bad bad condition so difficult for both players but you know he didn't really have anything to lose he played really well as you said drop shots mixed up the pace really well played really fast everything was anyway bouncing very low and around waist line.

and he played really well you know he gave me gave me a lot of difficulty from the baseline you know I didn't know what's coming next and he played really well.

but you know I'm really glad to stay tough when when it was most needed.
